Cellular Activation Required

I've had a new Scratch Wireless phone for several weeks now and it still doesn't do text messaging unless it's connected to wi-fi. In their web site, the customer dashboard says "Cellular Activation Required".

I've submitted a few tickets this week (one just now) to get Scratch's help with this. While waiting, is there anything at all I could possibly be doing to activate cellular service?

There hasn't been any response from Scratch yet on the topic either. I've send two follow-up comments to my second support request on this problem. (Meanwhile a phone hardware problem has cropped up that I haven't initiated with them.) Second support ticket is 7 days old; is this normal?

Soooo .. Anybody know a good way to get the attention of Scratch customer support? Thanks.
